The Anne Geddes Visa® Gold Card, issued by Bank of America, is designed for those with good credit who are looking to obtain an average gold card and would like to help support efforts that benefit the welfare of children.
With each purchase made with the card a donation in the amount of .5% is made to the Anne Geddes Philanthropic Trust for the prevention of child neglect and abuse.
The gold card also provides members with common gold cardholder benefits, such as purchase protection, auto rental insurance, and extended warranty services. There are also several card designs to select from.
There is a low introductory rate that can be applied towards purchases and balances transfers for the first six months. Once the introductory rate expires, the rate is reasonably low for those who qualify.
In addition, the card has no annual fee. However, there is a minimum cap of 19.99% for cash advances, so no matter how low the Prime Rate falls (the APR is tied to the Prime Rate), the interest rate will not go below the minimum cap.
Therefore, those with good credit who qualify for the lowest rate offered, plan to take advantage of the introductory rate, and would like to make donations towards the Anne Geddes Philanthropic Trust, will benefit most from what the Anne Geddes Visa® Gold Card has to offer.
